Be the Healthiest Version of Yourself!
Reflect, Reset, and Reignite Your Health Journey After 50
Hi, I'm Malin Svensson, Founder and CEO of Nordic Body — a walking and fitness club for the 50 plus.
I want to take a moment to talk about reflection and new beginnings. I love fresh starts, and they can happen at any time of the year — not just on a calendar date.
Take a minute right now and reflect on your health journey so far. What’s been going well, and what hasn’t gone as you hoped?
For example, maybe you’ve started walking more regularly. Maybe you purchased some equipment to use at home for your workouts. Perhaps you joined a class online or in person and found it motivating. Or maybe things didn’t go as planned — perhaps an injury got in the way, or you felt unsure how to get stronger without risking pain or strain.
The good news is, no matter what has happened in the past, you can always take steps toward a stronger, healthier version of yourself. Every day is a new opportunity to start again and make progress toward your goals.
At Nordic Body, we believe that fitness after 50 should be safe, effective, and fun. Our programs include workouts for every fitness level, from seated or standing exercises to more advanced options for those comfortable getting up and down from the floor. You can mix and match levels and track your progress easily over time — it’s all about meeting you where you are and helping you grow stronger with consistency.
One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is hearing the stories from members who have experienced real results. Many tell me they feel stronger and more confident than they have in decades. One woman shared that she had never been so consistent with exercise before joining our community — and now, she looks forward to every session.
Others have experienced less pain and more freedom of movement. For example, one participant shared that after following the Nordic Body Reboot Program for just a few weeks, her hip pain disappeared. That’s the power of consistent, balanced movement.
Consistency truly is the key to lasting results — in fitness and in life. When you build a regular habit, your body responds with strength, balance, and energy.
The Nordic Body System is designed to help you stay consistent, safe, and inspired. According to the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), strength training should be performed at least twice a week with 8–10 exercises targeting all major muscle groups. Doing them correctly is essential to prevent injury — and that’s exactly what I teach at Nordic Body.
Our supportive community makes all the difference, too. Members connect from around the world to encourage one another, celebrate progress, and share their fitness journeys. It’s wonderful to see people lifting each other up while improving their health.

As a fitness expert for 30 years for the 50+ population, I have witnessed fantastic progress and results for people who have stayed consistent over time. I’m sure you can see how it’s all related. Weak bones, weak muscles equal pain.
Strong bones, healthy muscles equal less pain and a better quality of life.
According to ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine), strength training should be performed at least twice a week with 8-10 different exercises that target all major muscle groups. And of course, you must do them correctly to avoid injuries. And that is exactly what the Nordic Body System is all about.
